Meet our Staff
Connie graduated from Dental Staff School in Marietta, GA, and received her Certificate as a Dental Assistant in the spring of 2009. She received her Expanded Duties Certificate the following year. She has been working with Dr. Contractor since July of 2009 and enjoys learning new skills and working with patients. Connie previously worked at Mt. Paran Christian School, and loves working with children. Connie and her three children are originally from Texas, but have lived in Georgia since 1990. She loves getting together with friends and family, and travel is always high on her “to do” list. She is active in her church, where she teaches the 2 yr. old class each Sunday morning.
Joan has been with Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates since April of 2010, and brings 13 years of administrative experience to the practice. Being detail oriented she works tirelessly with insurance companies to make sure our patients’ are aware of their dental benefits and eligibility requirements before they come for their appointments. She is always eager to answer any questions the patient may have about their insurance. Joan is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Georgia in 1975. She has two grown sons. In her spare time, Joan loves gardening and home improvement projects, and never passes up a chance to get together with her friends.
Elizabeth joined our practice in 2013 but has been an Expanded Duties Certified Dental Assistant for 13 years. She brings with her a vast knowledge in cosmetic Dentistry as well as Pediatric Dentistry. She enjoys working with the dentist in helping patients improve their oral health and smiles, and her favorite thing to do is make temporary crowns. She feels the most important part of her job is patient education. She graduated from Marietta High School and lives in Dallas. She loves spending her spare time with her husband, son, and two stepsons. Her weekends are filled with trips to the ball park for various sporting events with her boys.
Michelle joined our practice in January 2013 as scheduling coordinator. She will be the first person you talk to and she when you come in to our office. She has been involved in the dental field for over 20 years. What she enjoys most is interacting with patients and establishing long-term relationships. She loves seeing the immediate changes as well as the life-long results of quality dentistry. Michelle loves all aspects of dentistry. She was born and raised in Marietta, and now resides in Dallas with her husband of 27 years, and her daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafts, boating and anything that involves sun and sand.
