Meet our Staff

Connie

Connie graduated from Dental Staff School in Marietta, GA and received her Certificate as a Dental Assistant in spring of 2009.  She has been working with Dr. Contractor since the end of July 2009 and enjoys learning new skills and putting patients at ease during dental procedures.  To better serve her patients, she has gone to numerous continuing education classes and in 2011 she went back to be expanded duties certified.  Before starting her career in dentistry, she worked with children at Mt. Paran Christian School and that enjoyment of working with children continues in a different environment. Connie and her three children are originally from Texas, but have lived in Georgia since 1990.  She loves getting together with friends and family, and travel is always high on her “to do” list.

Joan

Joan is the newest member of Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates since it opened in February of 2009, and loves every aspect of her job, especially meeting new patients. Joan is our Office Manager, and is the first person our patients will meet, or speak with on the phone. She brings 10 years of administrative experience to the practice. She works with insurance companies to make sure our patient's benefits and eligibility requirements are met before they come to our office. Joan is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Georgia in 1975. She has two grown sons, the eldest lives in Kansas and works as an IT Technician and the youngest in the Air Force, stationed in California. In her spare time, Joan loves gardening and home improvement projects, and never passes up a chance to get together with her friends. She enjoys working at Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates because of the amazing staff and the wonderful patients she's met.
